Can't attend Pumkin Patch in person this year, but still want to support our park and programs while enjoying some festival fun? Grab a Pumpkin Patch to Go pack! 

Price: $60

Order: by Friday, October 15, 11:59 p.m.

Pick up: during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Tuesday, October 19 through Friday, October 22; early, late, or Monday pickup available by appointment (call Pam at 713-667-6550)

Includes: 

  • 2 pumpkins (your choice of pie or Jack-o-lantern)

  • 3 add-ons (your choice of no-carve pumpkin decorating kit, seed ball nature activity, NDC t-shirt, or raffle ticket)

PUMPKIN OPTIONS

You will select two pumpkins. For each selection, you can choose pie pumpkin or Jack-o-lantern (classic hollow) pumpkin. Nature Discovery Center will choose two great-looking pumpkins for you before the event begins on Saturday.

ADD-ON OPTIONS

No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Kits

You and your family can make fun, no-carve pumpkins with a native wildlife theme with these great kits! Each kit contains instructions and materials to decorate 3 pumpkins. 

Spiderweb Kit

  • Makes three string-art spiderwebs and decorate with multicolored spiders
  • Includes all the materials you need
  • Suitable for young hands with adult help/supervision (includes sharp objects)

 

Owl Kit

  • Makes three felt owl faces - choose your own eye colors and expressions
  • You will need scissors, tape, and glue (strong glue such as fabric glue, tacky glue, or gorilla glue works best)
  • Suitable for young hands with decent scissor skills

 

Seed ball kits

Take home one of the nature activities offered at this year's festival: seed balls. Kits include instructions and materials to make seed balls to help spread native wildflower species that provide food for native pollinators. Seed balls are great for home planting, gifts, or anywhere wild species grow!

 

T-shirts

Pumpkin Patch is one of your last chances to grab our 2021 shirt which features an owl design on a heather blue tee. Available in sizes Youth XS to Adult 2XL. You won't believe how soft they are!

 

Raffle tickets

Grab a raffle ticket for your chance to win a private Campfire Night program at the Center! This three-hour Campfire Night program includes a fire on our back patio (Pavilions area), hot dogs, s'mores, a nature presentation/night hike, and beer/wine (if desired) for up to 12 adults (for an adult program including beer/wine) or 25 participants (for a family program). Beer/wine-friendly events are NOT bookable through our website, so this is an exclusive, raffle-only opportunity!

 

In addition to the Campfire Night Grand Prize, your ticket could be drawn to win a Family-level membership, gift card to a local business, NDC swag, or other great prizes. 

 

Raffle drawing will be held on Monday, October 18 and the winners will be notified by email and phone.
